Here is a checklist of items to prepare for your child's hospital stay.

What to Bring
  • Formula, baby bottles, water bottles, cups, child-friendly utensils, wet wipes, handkerchiefs, bibs, and tissues.
  • Comfortable clothes, socks, and diapers.
  • Plastic/disposal bags for used diapers.
    (Please bring your own disposable bags to help us maintain a sanitary environment and prevent infections.)
  • Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, lotion, and towels.
  • Familiar bedding (a favorite blanket and pillow from home).
    (Note: One set of patient bedding—a blanket and pillow—is provided upon admission.)
    (Parents/guardians must bring their own separate bedding.)
  • Quiet toys and storybooks.

  • Utensils, bedding, personal toiletries, and a phone charger.
  • Personal thermometer.
Hospital
Facilities Provided
  • Communal Kitchenette:
    Water purifier, baby bottle sterilizer, and microwave.
  • Patient Rooms:
    Individual heating/cooling controls, TV, personal refrigerator, and storage cabinet.
  • Current Medications: If your child is taking any prescribed medications, please inform the attending physician and bring the medication along with the prescription.
    We will consult with you and take this into account when planning their care.

Admission Information

Meal Times: Breakfast approx. 7:45 AM / Lunch approx. 12:00 PM / Dinner approx. 5:15 PM

  • Please return all meal trays to the food cart at the ward entrance immediately after eating.
  • Baby food (purees/solids) is not provided. Please prepare and bring your own if needed.
  • The hospital is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
  • Please do not leave cash or valuables unattended in your room.
  • Fire hazards—including electric heaters, heating mats, electric kettles, and portable gas stoves—are strictly prohibited in patient rooms. Please use the communal kitchenette instead.
  • All areas within Tuntun Pediatric Hospital are strictly alcohol-free and smoke-free zones.
  • For your child's safety, strict parental supervision is required at all times
    to prevent falls, burns, or collisions.
  • No Outside Stays or Outings: Leaving the hospital premises is strictly prohibited.
    Outings can strain children with weakened immune systems and may worsen their condition.

To ensure cleanliness within the ward and prevent patient infection, Bringing in outside food is prohibited.This policy is enforced.
(e.g., Chinese food, standard restaurants, food delivery apps) are not allowed.

Discharge Guide

Please review the following procedures for settling your bill, collecting medications, and requesting medical documents.

1. Discharge Payment

  • After receiving your discharge medication, please proceed to the Administration Desk on the 5th floor to complete your discharge paperwork and settle the final bill.
  • Required medical documents and certificates for the hospitalization can be issued at the 5th-floor Administration Desk during payment.

Discharge Medication

  • Please collect your child's discharge medication from the Ward Nursing Station on the 3rd floor.

Returning Home

  • Please clear out any personal food or items from your room's refrigerator and return all hospital items provided upon admission.
  • Double-check your room to ensure no personal belongings or valuables are left behind.
  • Patients/guardians are responsible for any damage to or loss of hospital property, furniture, or medical equipment.
    (Compensation costs will vary depending on the item and the extent of the damage.)
